Endorsement of the Bangkok Declaration on Physical Activity for Global Health and Sustainable Development
The Bangkok Declaration is a position statement on the importance of physical activity for global health, through the prevention of non-communicable diseases, and highlights the co-benefits of population based actions on physical activity and their contribution to achieving the 2030 sustainable development goals (SDGs). The Bangkok Declaration is an advocacy tool and road-map for investment and actions at the country, regional and global levels. Please share the Bangkok Declaration widely with existing partners and other potential stakeholders, particularly those outside of health, to raise the priority, investment and implementation of physical activity actions at all levels.
Organisations that endorse the Bangkok Declaration, demonstrating their commitment to support and accelerate a global social movement on physical activity, will be publicly listed on this page.
